The site white paged. Not sure why.
But to resolve I reinstalled with fresh download. and re-uploaded the upload folder in wp-content.
Now it seems there is nothing in the library and the old posts were not there.
I checked the db to make sure it was there and it is.
Is there a way I can get my old content back?
