Jonas Lundman on "[Plugin: Advanced Custom Fields] Categories and tags stores in option table"

Hi,

I just checked out my database option table and all my custom fields addressed to show in categories/ tags was stored as option table record. Means, Ive got over 600 records there... And each new category/tag added dublicates the records, means, it stores a unique set of custom fields every time.

I just wonder if this is normal?

If so, using ACF on cat/ tags, must be VERY small amount of fields..?!
