I am working on my wordpress site on a local host for some time now and it was running fine all along, but couple of days ago i started getting this "Error establishing a database connection". It goes on and off every couple of minutes and i get the error in my /wp-admin and on the site itself. I repaired and re-installed wordpress, checked the config.php file for mistakes in db name or password but nothing helped. I contacted my web host and they said that there is nothing wrong with the server at least at the time they checked. I get to enter the site and the /admin folder every now and then but in 1 or 2 minutes it goes down again with this error. While i am getting the error i can't enter my ftp either. I ran out of things i can do to fix this so i hope i can get some help in here.
