destiny.spence on "I just started my site & Ive already had multiple issues. I need help!"

I had signed into my WordPress site, for the first time, and only made two changes. I, first, changed the password to something I would remember a little more. I thought the change was successful, because I had no issues, so I proceeded. I then went to change the wordpress address & site address. I think this is where the problem began because, when I went to save it, a new page loaded stating that there was an error with connecting to the database. After some research, I located the wp-config.php file and followed the steps to repairing the issue. Wordpress "repaired" the issue, but when I reloaded my site the same error appeared. I researched some more but now when I go to my site it says " Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'DB_USER' (T_STRING) in /home2/destiny1/public_html/wp-config.php on line 24 "
Im a newbie to all this. I had literally made this site 5 minutes before all of this happened. Can someone help??
